Kaci Coffee, L.Ac., Dipl.O.M.
Acupuncturist, Herbalist, Reiki Practitioner
Kaci was introduced to Acupuncture and Chinese medicine during college when she suffered a shoulder injury while playing Div I softball at the University of Mississippi. She was intrigued by the medicine and the way the Doctor of Chinese Medicine took the mind, body and spirit into consideration while treating a simple rotator cuff tear. She always felt that anything we don’t acknowledge and process on an emotional level will manifest physically. Finally, she had crossed paths with an ancient medicine that provided a model to facilitate healing by treating the root of the imbalance. After Kaci earned her B.A. in Psychology she began studying Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Read More
Kaci Coffee earned her Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree from Emperor’s College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Santa Monica, CA in December 2006 where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Upon completion of her 4-year program she began a private practice in Santa Monica, Ca. During that time she was also a technical supervisor in the acupuncture clinic at Emperor’s College in Santa Monica.
She feels it is her responsibility as a health care practitioner to encourage patients to become proactive in their approach to health because, ultimately, disease as well as healing, begins within. She can temporarily help a patient feel better, but often times a patient must make lifestyle changes to be able to experience lasting emotional, physical and spiritual balance. She does her best to be a positive catalyst in her patient’s lives to help them discover what it will take for them to approach and hopefully achieve balance.
Kaci finds balance in her life by being in nature. She loves hiking, running on the beach, boxing, snow/water skiing and traveling to new lands. She also enjoys yoga and meditation, which help quiet her mind and nurture her spirit.
